Before Over 40 Alpha


Before I joined the Brotherhood my life wasn't like that I was unfit or I wasn't an active person, on the contrary

I regularly went to the gym and attended some of the HIIT classes, went for long runs as I like running, and of course, I enjoyed my Kitesurfing as I'm a passionate Kite surfer.

The problem I was dealing with over the years was that I was gaining some weight, not only was I getting out of my shape…My bad cholesterol levels also started going up.

My doctor advised if you don't control your cholesterol levels now you will have more complications in the future, but as usual, the doctors warn you but they don't tell you how?

I didn't know what to do and thought I have to be more active and do more and more cardio so I started running more and more but it not only didn't fix the problems… I had more injuries and I got more sick as my immune system got weaker.

My diet wasn't ok as I ate whatever without thinking what it's good and bad for me and you hear everywhere from everyone that cutting carbs and adding proteins and veggies to your plate will keep you lean but this is just good for a couple of months and can't be kept consistent as without the fiber in the carbs the digestive system doesn't work properly and you end up with bloating, constipation and so on. (you guys know)

All that makes you think it's all because I'm getting older and I can't do anything about it.

This is something I thought I would have to accept and lose some self-confidence.”


After the Over 40 Alpha

“If you just joined the program just hang in there as this program actually works.

I myself were following Funks workouts on YouTube and doing them for a year and he always was saying join the program for $1 and it changes your life…blah blah blah…. but I thought this is one of those Cliché programs as you see around, you join for couple months and you don't get any result and you are off to next whatever program.

Even when I joined the program for the first couple of months I was just doing the workouts as I thought the diet will be the same you hear all the time: No Carbs, more proteins, and veggies but then I thought I can give it a shot and see if it works and I started using the meal program and that's where I just realized this is nothing like the other programs.

So just have faith in the program.

The amazing thing about this program is that you are never on your own and you have Funk's & Angela's support all the time despite being miles away.

Honestly, this program is cheaper than your local gym, as you join the local gym you are on your own not knowing where to start and what to do and you don't get any results and if you want to get results you have to pay extra for a PT that doesn't take you anywhere as well.

As Funk always says, consistency is the key and with this program, you can stay consistent.”
