Over 40 Alpha Virtue: Proactive

Ahead Of Schedule: Proactive

They say time is the most valuable asset as you will never get it back.

That is why we work to maximize our time here on earth.

Alphas don't just sit still in front of the TV watching the world go by.

They build their world around them.

Proactive

Another virtue of the new wave of Alpha men is the virtue of being proactive.

Betas sit around and wait for things to happen to them.

Alphas use their time purposely to better themselves and their lives.

Whether that be hitting the gym, reading books, learning something new, and of course providing for their families.

This is why we spend so much time talking about goals and goal setting as it becomes the target for Alphas to laser in on.

They envision it and then become almost obsessed with it.

They then focus on fulfilling the goal and removing every obstacle that stands in their way.

Since time is so valuable, they are not afraid to say NO to the things that are not within their values, and that takes time away from chasing their goals.

Think of a meaningful goal. Think about how to get it. It’s that simple.

Being proactive means taking responsibility for your life and actions.

Being proactive takes energy if you haven’t practiced this as it takes effort to chase a new goal and takes even more effort to say no to the things you are used to saying yes to.

Being proactive means anticipating problems, seeking new solutions, and leveraging the unique resources you have.

Proactive people take accountability for their present and future. They don’t float through life but instead swim steadfastly forward to a worthwhile ideal.

Get up and do something! Find a purpose for this moment! Don't let anyone stand in your way!

Get it DONE.
